Front of House Volunteers

Join the more than 100 volunteers who donate their time to support the Webb Center. Volunteers make our world go around and we depend on them to keep our doors open for every event. Join our team!

Front of House Volunteers ensure the welfare, comfort, safety and enjoyment of all audience members in a welcoming, courteous and respectful manner.

Volunteer roles include greeting patrons as they arrive, scanning tickets, offering programs & information, and escorting patrons to their seats.

Volunteer assignments typically require roughly 4.5 hours per event. Volunteers can expect to be scheduled for approximately 10 events per year.

Volunteers must be physically able to climb stairs, open heavy doors, and stand for long periods of time.

The Webb Center prides itself on upholding the highest health and safety measures. Information regarding COVID-19 procedures and protocols moving forward will be available in late summer 2020. Due to the nature of volunteering and being in direct contact with the general public, the Webb Center recommends that members of high-risk populations should refrain from volunteering during this high alert condition.

Camp Imagination Volunteers

The Webb Center is currently recruiting enthusiastic volunteers to help with camp!

Volunteers have the opportunity to pre-register their children, grandchildren or other relative for Camp Imagination before registration is opened to the general public. This year, as a result of the reduction in the number of campers and classes, fewer volunteers will be needed. Priority will be given to volunteers who are available for the full two-week session or at a minimum, one full week. Volunteers may apply by completing the application found here and emailing it to info@dewpac.org. Paper copies are available at the Webb Center Box Office. The deadline to apply for Session 2: June 28-July 2 has been extended to Friday, May 7.

Volunteers assist with all of Camp’s daily operations, from overseeing campers to assisting teaching artists in the classroom. They do not need to have prior experience in the arts or with Camp, but must be physically able to care for active children and eager to participate in Camp events. Duties will be assigned based on the volunteer’s preference, availability and staffing needs. Volunteers will be required to wear masks and assist with COVID-19 protocols such as monitoring social distancing. Volunteers are not required to be vaccinated, but it is strongly encouraged.ha
