Camp Imagination Auditions
2023 Camp Imagination Audition Information
This year’s Camp Imagination performance is Disney’s “The Lion King.” Campers entering 5th-12th grade in the next school year are invited to audition for lead roles in the musical production. Auditions will be held on Friday, May 12 and Saturday, May 13.
Those interested in auditioning should come prepared and rehearsed. Each camper will be asked to perform a memorized monologue, approximately 1 1/2 minutes in length and a vocal performance piece. The judges prefer a vocal audition of a theatrical song, even one from this show. Please bring a USB Drive with the instrumental accompaniment (no vocals) or have access to a karaoke version of the song on your smartphone for the audition.
Call the Box Office at (928) 684-6624 to schedule an audition appointment. Audition time slots are every 15 minutes beginning at 10 am on Friday, May 12 and 10 am on Saturday, May 13. Appointments will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Those who do not schedule their audition in advance are still welcome to participate, but will be subject to available times upon arrival.
Auditions will be held in the Webb Center’s Atrium. Campers who are unavailable to audition in-person can schedule a Zoom audition during the same time frames.
>>> Please fill out an Audition Form and bring it with you to the audition.
