Get “Doo Wop-ified” this Sat, 12/17 at the Webb Center

WICKENBURG, Ariz. – The Doo Wop Project will be celebrating the yuletide season in Wickenburg with a joyous performance of favorite holiday tunes, when they return to the Del E. Webb Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, Dec. 17 at 7:30 p.m. The quintet puts a retro spin on swingin’ Christmas classics in their new show “A Doo Wop Christmas.”
With their unique style, and slick dance moves, The Doo Wop Project brings the American Radio Songbook to a whole new level. Featuring stars from the Broadway hits “Jersey Boys,” “Motown: The Musical,” and “A Bronx Tale,” The Doo Wop Project brings unparalleled authenticity of sound and vocal excellence to recreate — and in some cases entirely reimagine — the greatest music in American pop and rock history.
Backed by an outstanding five-piece band, The Doo Wop Project is sure to put everyone into the holiday spirit with their special Christmas concert. Hear old school classics like The Drifters’ “White Christmas,” The Temptations’ “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons’ version of “Santa Claus is Coming to Town,” along with “DooWopified” contemporary hits like “This Christmas” and “Last Christmas.”
