ARTS FOR KIDS PROGRAM
Camp Imagination is an annual two-week summer arts camp designed to stretch the imagination of children by introducing them to a variety of arts genres through an intensive hands-on program of activities that integrates technical, visual and performing arts mediums. Camp Imagination will produce two sessions, both two-weeks long, during the month of June 2024. A maximum of 200 campers, who are entering first — twelfth grade in the Fall of 2024, will be able to participate; 100 campers per two-week session.
Classes will include music, movement/dance, drama, culinary arts, technical theatre, film production and visual arts designed to enliven their artistic spirit.
Camp Imagination will culminate in a live, public performance starring all of the campers; either on stage as actors, singers and dancers or behind the scenes as the technical crew. To support Camp Imagination with a tax-deductible donation click here.

2024 Registration Information
Camp Imagination registration will open in April 2024. Families who are interested in participating should contact the Box Office at info@dewpac.org to add their name to the notification list.

Camp Imagination participants are grouped according to their grade and choose from a variety of art classes targeted to their skill levels. Each camper will participate in four classes, one Showtime class where they learn their part for the final musical production, and three elective classes.
Class offerings for first through third graders may include: “American Ninja Warrior,” drawing, acting, drumming, arts and crafts, and tumbling. Fourth through sixth graders have been offered: aerial circus, acting, puppetry, drumming, jewelry making, sewing and drawing as their choice of classes. Seventh through twelfth graders have chosen from: comedy/improvisation, aerial circus, culinary arts, stage makeup, DIY, film production, and technical theatre classes.
Students fifth grade and up are encouraged to audition for lead roles in the final production. Those rewarded with lead roles meet intensively with an acting and a singing coach to challenge them with advanced performance techniques and skills.
Twenty-seven teaching artists, recruited from local, state and nation-wide resources, teach 35 classes each day and provide quality arts opportunities for our campers.
