Delivering a fresh take on favorite rock ‘n’ roll, doo-wop, and Motown hits, “Under the Streetlamp” returns to the Webb Center with a brand new show on Saturday, January 23 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, January 24 at 3:00 pm.
With their unique style and modern “Rat Pack” persona, “Under the Streetlamp” brings the American Radio Songbook to a whole new level. Backed by an outstanding seven-piece band, the four extremely talented singers provide an electrifying concert as they croon classic hits of the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s.
The show includes tender ballads and up-tempo tunes from The Beatles, The Beach Boys, and Roy Orbison, all performed with these Broadway veterans’ signature harmonies and slick dance moves. Of course no “Under the Streetlamp” show would be complete without a musical tribute to “Jersey Boy” Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.
Tickets for the performance start at $65 for adults and are $5 for 18 and under. Under the Streetlamp audience members will also have the opportunity to participate in an “Arts for Kids Fundraiser” within the John & Lynne Boyer Atrium at each performance. All proceeds will benefit the Webb Center’s educational programs.
