A friendly competition to prove which state is best! Regions of the country compete to raise the most funds.
Since 2013, the “My Home State” Challenge has raised over $88,000 for
Arts For Kids.
2017 Challenge total: $20,872.60. Congratulations to winning state: Arizona!
What program does the Challenge benefit?
Funds raised will benefit the 2017-18 season of “Arts for Kids” programs including:
Camp Imagination 2018
A two-week summer arts camp for two sessions during the entire month of June! Over 200 students, grades 1 – 12, experience dance, theatre, music, and visual arts in an environment packed with fun and filled with creativity. Over 35 classes are offered with professional teaching artists, including mosaics, puppetry, tumbling, aerial dance, comedy improv and drumming.
In the past 14 years, Camp Imagination has enriched the lives of over 2,000 students!
While the actual cost of producing Camp is $350/child, we strive to make Camp an affordable choice for families. Each child is charged $100; with additional siblings only $80. Generous donors allow us to offer tiered pricing and ensure no child is turned away for an inability to pay. Click here to learn more about Camp.
