Art. Works. is a Friday after-school program where local students can learn skills in acting and auditioning, physicality on stage, singing and vocal training. While students are having fun, they are building confidence to perform in front of family and friends and learning how to work as a team with their peers.
Held during the fall semester, students are exposed to new and exciting studies in the arts during each session of Art. Works. Talented local and state-wide teaching artists work closely with students to develop their creative skills. In-depth weekly classes engage students in a variety of performing arts techniques and safe after-school fun.
Past programs have featured a variety of individual music, theatrical and film-making classes, including: comedy & improvisation, violin and trumpet lessons, Broadway Bound vocal coaching, visual arts, sketch comedy, parlor magic, acting for the camera, and movement for actors.
There is a nominal charge for participation in Art. Works. Scholarships are available for those who qualify. Contact the Webb Center Box Office at 928-684-6624 for more information.
