Jim Breuer delivers clean, family comedy

Jim Breuer photoComedian Jim Breuer brings his current stand-up tour “Breuniverse” to the stage on Friday, January 17 at 7:30 pm. With over 20 years of comedy experience, Breuer’s clean humor revolves around raising three daughters and balancing his family life with the rest of the world.

Breuer’s stand-up material comes from relatable topics: being married, his wife and kids, and living with elderly parents. Self-described as a Bill Cosby-esque storytelling comedian with an edge, the former “Saturday Night Live” star promises nothing short of uproarious family-friendly hilarity during his shows. Breuer’s recent work is much different than his time on SNL, with a multi-generational appeal and focus on family and personal experiences.

Jim Breuer remains one of today’s top entertainers and continues to win over audiences with his off-the-wall humor and lovable personality.  Named one of Comedy Central’s 100 Greatest Stand-Ups of All Time, Breuer is one of the most recognizable comedians in the business, known for his hilarious physicality and dead-on impressions.

Along with his appearance on SNL, Breuer also appeared on ABC’s “Home Improvement” starring Tim Allen and in the popular films “Zookeeper,” and “Titan A.E.” In addition to his comedy tour, Breuer can be heard on his weekly Sirius/XM Radio show “Fridays with Breuer,” featuring guests such as Jerry Seinfeld, Bill Cosby, and Jeff Foxworthy.

Opening for Jim Breuer will be comedian Rich Aronovitch, who has appeared on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and “Last Comic Standing” on NBC. Tickets start at $22; $5 tickets available for those 18 & under. Call the Webb Center Box Office at 928-684-6624 for more information, or the event page here.
