American Place Theatre actor Billy Lyons brings to life Tim O’Brien’s unforgettable experiences surrounding the Vietnam War. This riveting, one-man stage presentation of the novel gives witness to the complex issues of war and the universal struggle of a soldier. Interactive pre- and post-performance discussions encourage audiences to examine their own beliefs, choices and the ultimate cost of war. Includes strong language.
The month of November 2012 marks the 50th Commemoration of the Vietnam War. In recognition of this important anniversary, Wickenburg organizations have partnered together and created a series of events designed to pay tribute to those that served. The entire community is invited to honor those veterans from the Vietnam War, as well as all the men and women that have served in the United States military. Click here for a schedule of events.
